There are 100 plus different places to stay and at all price ranges. There has been a mega BOOM in the local tourism economy of Pai since 2003. Lots of hippie, free spirits, new age crowd of expats hanging out and around. Recently Pai was featured in Thai movies and there is a "Thai Tourist" peak season Jan-Feburary.
