The north of Thailand's culture is Lanna in origin. Kingdom of Lanna (อาณาจักรล้านนา) ... "Kingdom of Million Rice Fields" was a state in what is now northern Thailand from 13th until 18th century. Hill tribes people where separate from the Lanna & Burmese influences and have their own unique cultures.
